The Hotel Alex Johnson
When the Alex Johnson turned to RSA for help, their website needed not only a refreshed design, but a new structure that would allow clients to easily find information about this historic hotel.
The new design helped to accurately portray the sophisticated elegance of the Alex Johnson hotel, and the restructured site content now features many of the services and nuances that this hotel has to offer. From planning a wedding to a haunted thrill, site visitors can easily find what they are looking for.
Making sure that guests can reserve a room is possibly the most important function for a hotel website, and RSA provided potential customers with the ability to easily book their stay from any page of the site, making their visit to the Hotel Alex Johnson a hospitable process from the very start.

Cadillac Jack's Gaming Resort
With a busy casino, the ability to have an easily maintained website is important, and they were tired of the difficult process their old site required to keep gaming promotions and hotel specials up to date. They hired RSA to build an website with a more user friendly navigation and classy design.
The new site allows Cadillac Jack's to update their promotions, feature the unique aspects of the resort, such as the smoking lounge, the Brown Rock sports bar, and entertainment in their new gaming pit.
To make it easy for potential guests to access the site and plan their gaming getaway, the mobile friendly site allows site visitors to book online, right on their phone, making it easier than ever to take advantage of the hot deals that this Deadwood casino has to offer.

Memphis KOA
Technology changes fast, and the Memphis KOA felt it was time to refresh the design and content of their old website. They hired RSA to give them a new site with strong visuals to entice potential campers to their grounds.
The new website was launched just in time for the summer tourist season, and the new design makes an impact with fun visuals. Content optimized according to SEO best practices improves the sites search rankings, and makes it easy for travelers to find the perfect campground for their vacation.

Harpers Ferry KOA
Not long after the Memphis KOA launched their site, the Harpers Ferry KOA felt that a similar site refresh was just what they needed. A similar design featuring strong imagery and a refreshed content breathed fresh air into the website, and allows the KOA to promote the nearby attractions such as the Civil War Battlefields and its proximity to Washington D.C.

Shining Falls Lodge
Shining Falls Lodge selected RSA for their website face-lift. This project was much more than just a website redesign, the site features restructured navigation and carefully selected keyword content which is optimized to draw significantly more traffic to the new site.
The simple site design draws attention toward calls to action that will engage visitors and build business. An image slider is prominently displayed throughout the site pages, featuring highlights of the lodge. The site also has well defined content areas, making navigation to useful information quick and easy for the user.
RSA also produced and incorporated YouTube videos, an availability calendar and an in depth contact form to make Shining Falls Lodge stand out from their competition.

City of Huron
When the city of Huron, South Dakota, decided to redesign their website, they had specific criteria in mind for the look and functionality of the new site. We met with representatives from different city departments, including the Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Board, to hear each group's ideas and determine their needs.
The website is actually comprised of six sections which focus on different audiences: visitors, residents, future residents, City Government, Chamber of Commerce, and Economic Development. Since several of these categories and pages are interrelated, it was essential that we develop a cohesive and seamless navigation so that site viewers can easily find what they are looking for.
The city also needed to be able to update the site frequently, upload multiple pdfs and documents, and post announcements, so we customized a CMS which allows city officials from various departments to manage content for their pages with administrative approval.
Now, the site has a fresh, inviting design and several interactive features. Contact forms, business directories, videos - everything web users might need regarding the city of Huron is now right at their finger tips.

Scotchman Industries
Scotchman teamed up with RSA to assist in gaining a better search engine web presence. They wanted more leads, better quality traffic and better results from their website. Their search engine presence was minimal and their site needed better structure & navigation, less flash and the site's content needed to be optimized for the web.
The old site they had grown accustomed to, along with it's backend CMS, was getting outdated and was contributing to the overall site's web presence issues.
RSA worked with Scotchman staff and owner Jerry Kroetch to build a new content structure and a streamlined design. The site's CMS system was updated and rebuilt to accommodate SEM strategies, a new structure was created along with new programming to make updating the site easier.

South Dakota Farmers Union
The South Dakota Farmers Union is a busy and vital organization that touches many rural lives across South Dakota. Their previous site was difficult to keep current and suffered from poor navigation, so we restructured their content and provided a system for updating news and events from any computer with an internet connection.
The site features a sky and earth background, carrying the theme of agriculture and land, but throughout there's a strong visual presentation emphasizing people. Videos created by SDFU Communications Director Chris Studer add a dynamic element throughout.

Radiant Systems Inc
RSA originally designed Radiant Systems Inc. website in 2004, we recently approached them to do an update. Our strategy was to restructure functionality and content, while redesigning a site with a more professional and up-to-date look; utilizing the latest web techniques.
We began by making the site navigation more intuitive; allowing customers to quickly and easily find detailed product information; crucial to increased sales. The main navigation is well organized with drop downs; while graphically enhanced buttons and inline text links utilized throughout the site allow the user to follow a conscious flow of information from one section to the next.
Content was restructured to help consumers quickly find pertinent product information. Doing so also aids search engines in indexing the site for high traffic visibility. Tabs were used in content rich areas, organizing content into easy to manage sections.

Hinn's Homes Inc.
Hinn's Homes wanted an updated website that would showcase their manufactured and modular home business, emphasize their long record of customer service, and help them be found in the four-state area they service. They wanted to position their business as being a step ahead on the web over area competitors. RSA provided a warm and inviting design and an efficient way for Hinn's customers to see the spectrum of products that Hinn's represents without being overwhelmed by all the choices available.

Palmer Gulch
Palmer Gulch asked us to refresh their site identity and incorporate an SEO package. A majority of Palmer Gulch's potential guests go to the internet for resort information and reservations; they needed a website that was clean, informative and easy to navigate.
By reorganizing the site structure, creating well categorized content and an easy-to-navigate interface, we made sure that potential guests could find exactly what they were looking for; including an interactive resort map. Guests are able to zoom into specific areas of the facility, view detailed information about amenities, as well as, pin pointing their parties locations throughout the resort.

Dakotah Steak House
Dakotah Steakhouse is a new restaurant in Rapid City. As part of their start-up strategy, the owners asked RSA to help develop a branding campaign and design a website. Our challenge was to combine the upscale steakhouse concept with a contemporary, western chic feel. We chose rustic colors and textures and incorporated high-quality photos of entrees, drinks, and desserts to invite and entice potential diners.

Naja Shriners
Naja Shriners had an older website, but wanted a fresh new approach that would help them attract new members as well as keep current members informed and engaged.
The site is designed to be easy to update, and to integrate with new NajaShriners Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages. All things that will help them raise awareness of their organization. They are planning to enter their new site in a contest for recognition from Shriner's International -- that will be a prestigious accomplishment for a small Shrine in South Dakota.

Reptile Gardens
We launched the previous Reptile Gardens site back in early '09 and it had served them well all this time, but it was due for a face-lift. After a thorough review of the site's usage analytics, we identified areas to where content needed to be reorganized, expanded, or, in some cases, consolidated. A fresh new design simplifies access to the vast amount of content within the site, supported by great photography throughout.

Black Hills Home Builders
BHHBA needed more functionality out of their site along with an updated design. The newly launched site features a robust membership directory, events calendar, and document download area.
The site is a 100% content-managed system, allowing BHHBA staff full access to add articles or edit existing content as the need arises.

Comfort Suites Rapid City
With no dedicated website and a very small umbrella site which promoted two other hotels in the area, Comfort Suites was severely lacking in its online presence.
With our extensive experience working with tourism-based businesses, here and out of state, we were able to work with the very particular requirements of the Comfort Suites team. Additionally we also had to comply with stringent corporate branding guidelines too. After several designs were produced, our collective teams focused on the one which we felt reflected the high quality and service offered by the high-end hotel.

Rapid City Firefighters
The Rapid City Fire Fighters Union has never had a dedicated website to help inform the public about what they do and provide useful information. The RCFF team also wanted to use the website as a way for all members (100 plus) to collaborate on different projects and create a sense of community.
With the new website, all members can contribute by participating on the online forum and by adding blog entries.

Pennington County Emergency Management
With a website that was outdated and difficult to use, the RCPCEM team approached us with a very broad brief – to update the whole website, bring the design into the 21st century and improve overall usability of the site which provides a vital public service.
They wanted more people to use the site, and make full use of the information which is targeted at the general public. The RCPCEM team also wanted to make use of modern web technologies and video.

Big Ticket Solutions is the umbrella company for a variety of services focused on helping retailers find success in today's difficult market. The newly-launched website features a video introduction from CEO and President, Robert Trupe, shot on a green screen background and composited into the site for a truly unique effect.

CASA 7th Circuit
CASA of Rapid City's website was fairly old and outdated and they wanted a new website that they could edit themselves, was user friendly and yet still look professional and attractive.
Their new site allows visitors to make donations, get applications, volunteers will be able to print monthly forms, and everyone will be able to find information on all the happenings at the CASA Program.

Jolly Lane Greenhouse & Floral
The Jolly Lane Greenhouse and Jolly Lane Floral site houses two destinct businesses under one domain. The design split the two businesses into separate websites so each could focus on their area of expertise.
The greenhouse side features extensive information on gardening tips, plant selections and information on choosing the right plant species for the Western South Dakota region.
The floral shop site is primarily an online shopping cart with addtional information on floral care and a resource for finding just the right words to include in your card.

With a rapidly growing website, the SDGF&P site lacked structure and relevant content. Their website was crowded with too much information, too many documents and the navigation made it hard for users to find their way through the site.

Wall Chamber of Commerce
We met with the Wall Chamber of Commerce this past year to help re-brand the Chamber and it's website. Along with a new brochure RSA helped the Chamber develop a website that represents not only Wall itself but the surrounding areas to include the Badlands.
The new site offers a brand new site design along with an interactive google map and a CMS system on the backend with an administration area that allows the Chamber to update the events and business directory from their offices.

Winterset Concert Events
We recently designed a new site for Winterset Concert Events, to help promote their musical acts. The design incorporated a series of brightly colored photographs on a muted background, creating excitement and drawing attention to the artists.
A variety of elements were used to create an informative and fun experience for the site user. Drop-down menus were utilized to create quick and easy navigation through the various music genres. The photo gallery showcases images captured during various events promoted by Winterset Concert Events.
