Customer Service
Customer service cannot be over-emphasized. It is the main thing that we sell, even as a marketing agency. Without a higher- than-industry-standard level of customer service, we wouldn’t see ourselves as a higher-than-industry-standard agency. I mean of course our final product can compete at even national levels, but our clients wouldn’t hold out for that superior product if they did not have superior guidance and excellent customer service along the way.
So should it be for you and your business. Set customer service and satisfaction as one of the main selling points of your product, and then stand behind it.
Vincent Tyson recently wrote a blog post about customer service and some highly memorable experiences he’s had – both good and bad. It is always good to take a step back and look at why you’re in business in the first place: your customers.
Traditional Media
Advertising is not dead. And despite many advances in Internet technology and trending belief, traditional media marketing still has an important role to play and with the rise of social media, people truly are looking for more/needing more from us (advertisers), and from you as a business owner.
As advertisers in a new media/new generation age, we have to start looking at people differently. Ads and commercials still have their place in marketing, but no longer can they simply broadcast their advertising agenda. People need to be engaged - they need that commitment from you, or they’ll most likely move on.
