Recent Website Launches from RSA Interactive
In the summer of 2008, RSA was approached by the North Dakota Department of Transportation to build a website which would help them support the Safe Communities program. The program is a Safe Communities Coordinator's one-stop-shop for news updates, helpful resources and exclusive tools. The Safe Communities model represents a fresh perspective on how community programs are established and managed.
The site was built so that Safe Communities teams are able to update up to 95% of the content quickly and easily themselves. It’s referred to in the web design industry as a "content management system." To assist them in the launch, RSA devoted a great deal of time and effort in training at Safe Communities offices in Bismarck, North Dakota, to ensure that the handover of the sites maintenance was a smooth process. The website was officially launched in February 2009. For more information and to get involved go to www.safecommunities.org
Vickie Powers Memorial Park Playground is a community-based project powered by Rapid City’s Parks and Recreation Department. Their website was designed to serve up information for potential sponsors, calling Rapid City’s business community to donate time, money, materials and labor to the project. The site features a blog that will chronicle the 5-day event, as well as links to a live webcam that will cover the week-long project.
RSA was proud to contribute a website, and hopes many more residents and businesses will support Rapid City's community efforts as well.
After originally designing the Mostly Chocolates website in 2004; we approached them with the idea of updating their existing site using the latest technology, expandable design and a SEO friendly format.
The major goal for this project was to increase sales through product visibility. A specific area was created on the home page to promote the current store special; by doing so this design allows us to change out the special section with new eye-catching graphics on a monthly basis, adding interest and fresh content to the site.
A flash gallery of products adds further drama and appeal to the sites redesign. These photos were taken previously by Kevin Eilbeck, a local professional photographer, under our art direction.
Without a current website in position, Pottery 2 Paint asked Robert Sharp & Associates to design a cost effective, friendly, visually exciting site for their locally owned pottery company. To keep with the playful style and nature of their business we chose to incorporate bright colors, brush strokes, and various cartoon characters.
Robert Sharp and Associates offers websites in a variety of price ranges to meet the budget needs of our clients.
We have been working with the South Dakota Chiropractors on a number of print projects over the years and this Spring we completed work on their heavily dynamic website. Our role was to set up the basic framework for the static pages (with the SDCA to fill in the content later), clean up the navigation system and program both an administrator back end as well as a members-only area.
The SDCA members can edit their own profile, check legislative updates, participate in polls as well as communicate with eachother via an online forum.
Site administrators can send out notices to members, check membership activity history, post news articles and review submissions from the site's registration forms.
