RSA HappeningsWe had to say our goodbyes to Cheryl Janklow in December when she made the move to sunny California. Cheryl was the Vice President of this company and a part of Robert’s team since 1996. Her marketing expertise and customer relations have been momentous contributors to RSA’s success. We will sincerely miss her enthusiasm, originality, resourcefulness and leadership. Cheryl is a remarkable woman and will do exceedingly well in whatever she embarks upon next. Thank you, Cheryl, for everything. Social media is happening. BBM Studios just launched a company blog. We will keep it flowing with fresh information about website design and development, social media trends, social media tools, video production and other fun and informative advertising and marketing info. Check it out; subscribe to the feed and stay up-to-date and in touch with South Dakota’s premier marketing agency. Please leave comments, questions, or whatever. Let’s get social! In October, Robert Sharp, Tony Dodd, Stacie Granum and Tracey Scheich flew to Phoenix to attend an Agency Management Roundtable Sitewire conference. Sitewire is an interactive marketing agency and a growing authority in new media and search engine marketing. Click here to read more about the conference and why we went. Robert Sharp & Associates was scheduled to host the bi-annual conference of the Alliance of Marketing Communications Agencies (AMCA) at our Rapid City location in November. Unfortunately, only two of the members were able to forge through the snowstorm to get here. The rest of the group members were either snowed in at airports on the way here or their flights were cancelled before they even left home. There’s always next time. Thanks to all of you for trying! The Rendon Group of Boston, MA produced a live interactive webcast from Mount Rushmore October 23rd & 24th for the non-profit Elderhostel with the help of BBM Studios. The program, entitled "Wisdom of Our Fathers," was produced in front of a live audience and featured four presidential scholars/impersonators of the presidents on Mount Rushmore. The event was webcast to over a dozen locations and over 1000 viewers nationwide. It was the culmination of a four-month long education program on Presidents Geo. Mike Otis of the Rendon Group deemed the webcast a success and applauded Tracy Mailloux of BBM Studios for all his hard work to help produce the show, and to secure equipment and a crew. "It's always great to meet and work with other professionals in the industry," Mailloux stated. "This was our first live webcast, and I'm glad we exceeded the Rendon Group's expectations, and hope to work with them again." New people…We’d like to welcome five new team members and one intern: |
