The new site features an online shopping cart, downloadable entry forms, photo gallery and event results page. Each year, certain pages will be updated to match the fair's theme while the remaining areas will maintain a consistent overall identity.

The Vehicle Infrastructure Integration (VII) Initiative is a cooperative effort among U.S. Department of Transportation, state and local governments, the automobile industry, and other partners to support development of an information infrastructure for ongoing real-time data communications with, and among, vehicles to enable a number of safety, mobility, and commercial applications. The scope of their work is wide and somewhat complex, so we created situation-specific animations to better illustrate what they actually do. The first two are currently on the site, with more to come in the near future. Also featured on the site are two Flash-based maps that link to state-level and international activities. The site houses a wealth of information for industry professionals around the country to browse and download.
