2007 South Dakota State Fair "We're Still The One"

(Huron, SD) - With a great grandstand line up, terrific weather and something for everyone, attendance appears to be up and this year's South Dakota State Fair is looking like it could turn out to be one of the best ever.
Today (Sunday) the EXCITEMENT continues at the Fair!

It's Progressive Insurance Day - With Progressive, saving hundreds on auto insurance is just the beginning! Stop by our display for a chance to win some of the hottest consumer electronic items from Apple and Nintendo (don't worry - we'll deliver them to you in our Immediate Response Vehicles if you're not present to win), pick up a free snow cone, and meet our local Claims heroes - they'll be the friendly faces ready to help you if you ever need them. Tonight in the Grandstand get ready to turn up the volume as Ted Nugent brings his "free for all" attitude to the fair stage at 9pm playing all your favorites! Goldstar Amusements Carnival Midway opens up at 10am and runs until Midnight!

Tonic Sol Fa bring their acappella sounds to the NWE Freedom Stage with two shows at 1:45pm and 7pm.

Supreme Champion Bull & Heifer Selection 3:45pm OC Beef

1st Financial Bank USA BBQ Beef Cook-off takes place north of the Expo Building. People's choice judging starts at 4pm.

South Dakota State Fair Chili Challenge takes place north of the Expo Building with the People's Choice Judging taking place at 1:00pm.

Welde's Big Bear show has been a big hit; make sure you catch the shows at 1:15pm, 3:30pm and 6:00pm today

McGillvrey Oil Kids Fish Catch, 6:00pm Flag Avenue

Dustin Evans and the Goodtimes Band performs in the Beer Garden tonight following the Grandstand entertainment.
