		<description>I share your skepticism regarding the god-like properties of social media and find your description of the crowded room (smell and stalkers included!) especially apt.  For the small business person, entrepreneur or nonprofit leader looking to incorporate social media into their marketing and promotion plans, there&#039;s no better solution than seeing that room as one in which there&#039;s both great potential and great challenge.  Just as in a physical space, one shouldn&#039;t merely walk in, declare oneself an expert and expect listeners by the droves. (There are those types, sure, but goodness are they bores!) Still, for the bold person, a confident speaker and a good listener, giving and patient, there are partners, customers and friends to be found.  Good luck to all!</description>
