"Don’t worry about the world coming to an end today. It is already tomorrow in Australia."
~ Charles Schulz
More About Tarah:
-
Tarah is extremely competitive when it comes to board games. A game of Sequence at her house can turn deadly.
-
After an unfortunate experience with a Tilt-A-Whirl in second grade, Tarah is terrified of amusement park rides.
-
Though she minored in Spanish, Tarah only retained useful phrases like ¿Cuánto cuestan los zapatos?
Tarah has lived in South Dakota her entire life (save for a six-week stint in Kansas). She holds a degree in contemporary media and journalism from the University of South Dakota.
Prior to joining RSA, Tarah gained experience in public relations, advertising and graphic design as the Communications Director for the SD Department of Social Services. She took a leap of faith and followed her fiancé to Rapid City, where she found an opportunity to use her talents at RSA.
Tarah loves to run, hike, eat chocolate, and buy shoes – and not necessarily in that order. She has traveled to France, Italy, England, the Netherlands, Mexico and the Caribbean, and has high hopes that she’ll make it to Alaska and Greece in the near future.
An avid reader of everything from USA Today to the back of her morning cereal box, Tarah has a passion for writing and editing. She has a penchant for grammar, and has been known to helpfully correct newspaper headlines with a red pen. As a kid Tarah hoped she would grow up to help Anne M. Martin write Babysitter’s Club books, but for now she’s happy to write press releases and web copy for RSA clients.
