"There are those who look at things the way they are and ask why. I dream of things that never were and ask why not."
~ Robert F. Kennedy
A Little More Jack:
Jack is the proud father of four incredible children.
Jack went to Mississippi to help after Hurricane Katrina.
Jack wants to be a football player when he grows up but will settle with being an astronaut.
Jack was named after both of his grandfathers: Grandpa Jack and Grandpa John (who liked to be called Jack).
Jack loves the outdoors.
Jack was born in Japan near Mount Fuji. With his father serving in the United States Air Force, the young Jack experienced many cultures, countries and states of America. From Japan and Canada to New York, Florida and Washington DC, Jack is no stranger to life outside of South Dakota and he has lived a life that, up to this point, few can imagine.
From his drama days as the high school senior class president to his Phi Sigma Epilson fraternity days as the college student association president, Jack has never been afraid to be his own person and stand up (even cheer) for what he knows is right. Yes, Jack was a male cheerleader in college…really.
Jack started out in the production industry at age 15 as a voice on the radio. These youthful years helped Jack work out some of his communication bugs and, essentially, prepared him to be one of our very own.
Equipped with a bachelor of science in mass communication/broadcast (emphasis on secondary education) from Black Hills State University, Jack continued to work in radio for several years. Mr. Sitch went on to teach high school for 9 years, and then served as an adjunct college professor for 1 year. Jack did proudly break the mode, however, and worked for a couple years as the executive director of the Black Hills Area Chapter of the American Red Cross.
We found him working as a video editor for a local TV station.
