Dottie was in a sailing club when she lived in Texas.
Dottie is the business manager at Robert Sharp & Associates, located in Rapid City, SD.
Our resident bookkeeper, Dottie, pretty much keeps to herself. So you might not have guessed that…
Dottie was born in South Dakota. She moved around in her younger years and ended up living in south Texas for 25 of them.
Dottie graduated from college with an accounting degree. When she lived in Texas, she got into real estate and worked as an agent for 20 years. She changed professions mid-life (back to accounting) to utilize her college studies.
Dottie loves being a grandmother. She has four grandchildren that mean the world to her.
Her favorite part of working at RSA: her own office.
Dottie wanted to be an interior decorator when she grew up. (Between you and me, I’m pretty sure she still does and would leave us in a heartbeat if Martha Stewart or Bob Vila offered her a job.)
She really likes jazz and Broadway plays. Dottie loves to read fiction and does not think twice about spending a Sunday afternoon curled up with John Grisham.
